Hi, I’m Chantel. Makeup has always been more than beauty to me. It’s a way to express creativity, build confidence, and help people see themselves in a new light. I created SoftMod because I believe makeup should enhance what’s already there, not hide it. The name comes from the idea of subtle modification with a modern approach, creating looks that feel timeless, effortless, and true to you.
One of my favorite parts of this career is seeing the confidence someone has after looking in the mirror. Whether you’re getting ready for your wedding, a special event, or a creative shoot, I want you to feel comfortable, cared for, and excited about the experience. Every face is different, and I believe makeup should reflect your personality instead of trying to make everyone look the same.
I’m especially drawn to beautiful, healthy skin and makeup that looks just as good in person as it does in photos. Editorial work gives me a chance to be creative, while working with brides and everyday clients reminds me why I fell in love with makeup in the first place. Helping someone feel powerful, beautiful, and confident never gets old.
